Small update that’s ACTUALLY a small update this time. Here’s what’s different:

• Clot rules are back to normal! Clot Cascades are now an optional rule for people who enjoyed them. These were supposed to lead to more fun “Yes, and–” improv between players, but in practice feedback suggests that it added a lot more busywork and slowed things down while groups had to think of how to Mad-libs everything together.
• Allegiances are back on the character sheets! The idea with removing them was to make it visually clearer that playing non-aligned outsider vampires (Locust groups, Dhampir, Melusine) is an equally viable option, but it’s been reverted back to the classic form. Future revisions/sourcebooks might expand the Unaligned/Marauder option for player characters.
• New Appendix A, containing Optional Rules that have been culled from the rest of the book to put them in one easy to find place.
• Elizavet’s letter in the core book explaining vampire physiology has been removed due to formatting issues, as well as to cut back on how many pages are taken up by letters and scrapbooking. The info in the letter was mostly just setting flavour and is going to pop back up in another form at a later date

With all the rules now in a mostly-good state, we’re going to get to work on getting the rules up in an Online SRD on the upcoming website. Then, it’s going to be time to do open playtesting on Bloodsucker’s first official supplement. See you in LA!
